HOW WE DESIGN
KNOWLEDGE: The BCS process starts by doing homework. Lots of homework. We have a combined total of over 35 years of doing homework.. We KNOW homework like Bo knows Diddley. If we are going to help you achieve your vision, we need to inform ourselves of our client’s brand identity, their market and especially their consumer base. So we'll take field trips, scour the interweb, rummage through cool stuff and seek out inspiration anywhere we can. This informs us of the lay of the land. Or perhaps the 'trend' of where that particular marketplace is headed. Through the process of discovery, we are informed of key market opportunities that the competition may not be tapping (bonus for our client). This becomes our launch pad for your design.
IDEATION:Clear problems have been outlined and potential solutions have been pondered. So the visual and often times tangible mess we have accumulated through our initial observations is funneled straight into the concept. This is the nitty gritty "Roll Up the Sleeves Cowboys and Cowgirls" time. Everything is considered as we plunge in headfirst. As we move forward, we are always refining these concepts, reflecting on what we have learned and taking close consideration to our clients wants and needs. This can often be in flux as we present rounds of design to the client. We're great idea generators but we are also pretty good at listening too. The clients thoughts are closely considered each step of the way. The end result is a unique solution, custom tailored for the client which is both in harmony and balance with their brand direction.
DELIVER: All of those late nights, 16 hour days and often times weekends of research and design now become reality. BCS takes all of those tangibles and stitches them into the finalized product or graphic. Through our rigorous design process, we now oversee and facilitate the creation of our clients vision from start to finish keeping close watch on time, budget and most important: making out client happy. If our client isn't happy with the finished design, we can't sleep and that's just not a good thing. Really.
